Despite the recent setbacks against Sri Lanka, India remains firmly entrenched as the top team in the ICC ODI Team Rankings. Their status as the number one team remains intact, with 118 rating points, followed by Australia (116), South Africa (112), Pakistan (106), and New Zealand (101) in the second to fifth positions, respectively. Sri Lanka, now positioned at sixth with 97 rating points, has pushed England down to seventh place with 95 rating points.
The remaining top ten is rounded out by the West Indies (78), Bangladesh (53), and Ireland (26). Additionally, Indian captain Rohit Sharma emerged as the highest run-scorer in the Sri Lanka ODI series, accumulating 157 runs across three matches, which has boosted his position in the ICC Men’s ODI Batting Rankings.

By climbing one spot, Rohit Sharma (763 rating points) has moved ahead of Virat Kohli (752 rating points) to become the third-ranked batter in the latest ICC ODI Rankings. Kohli has dropped to fourth place. Babar Azam of Pakistan continues to hold the top spot with 824 rating points, while Indian opener Shubman Gill sits in second with 782 rating points.
In the ICC Men’s ODI Bowling Rankings, Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav made significant progress, rising five places to join Mohammed Siraj as the joint fourth-best bowler, each with 662 rating points. South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj leads the bowling rankings with 716 rating points.
In the all-rounders’ category, Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi remains at the top with 320 rating points. Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja, who missed the Sri Lanka tour, have seen a notable drop in their rankings.
