Ravindra Jadeja’s wife, Rivaba Jadeja, posted a passionate message on social media after India’s decisive victory in their final T20 World Cup Super Eight match. India secured a 24-run win over Mitchell Marsh’s Australia on June 24.

In her post on X, Rivaba stated that the longstanding ‘score’ between the two cricketing giants had been settled. She referred to the 2023 ODI World Cup final where India, led by Rohit Sharma, had finally avenged their previous defeat against Australia in Ahmedabad.

She wrote, “Scores Settled. In the ongoing T20 Cricket World Cup, India has recorded a stunning victory against Australia. Congratulations to the team for this remarkable achievement!”

In addition to congratulating the team, Rivaba Jadeja reserved special praise for India’s captain, Rohit Sharma. Acknowledging his remarkable innings of 92 runs off 41 balls during India’s batting, she emphasized, “Rohit Sharma’s explosive performance will be remembered for generations.” Rivaba also posted several pictures of standout players from the game, including Rohit, Kuldeep Yadav, and Axar Patel. Her post has garnered significant attention on social media, prompting fans to react with enthusiasm in the comments section.

While India has secured a spot in the T20 World Cup 2024 semi-finals, Ravindra Jadeja’s performance has been underwhelming. He contributed just nine runs to India’s total of 205 in the first innings. During Australia’s batting, Jadeja struggled, conceding 17 runs in a single over, making him the most expensive bowler for the Men in Blue. His woes continued when he dropped a catch. However, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, and Jasprit Bumrah’s combined efforts restricted Australia to 181 runs.

Next, India will face Jos Buttler’s England in the T20 World Cup semi-finals scheduled for tomorrow, June 27, at the Providence Stadium.
