Chris Gaffaney from New Zealand and Richard Illingworth from England have been selected as the on-field umpires for the T20 World Cup final between India and South Africa in Barbados on Saturday.
India secured a 68-run victory over defending champions England in the semifinal at Providence, Guyana, while South Africa defeated Afghanistan by nine wickets at Tarouba, Trinidad.
Richard Kettleborough will serve as the TV umpire for the final at Kensington Oval, with Rod Tucker appointed as the fourth umpire.
Richie Richardson will fulfill the role of the match referee for the T20 World Cup final. This will be the second time that Kensington Oval hosts the T20 World Cup final, with the first instance being in 2010.
