In the aftermath of the win, all-rounder Axar Patel playfully teased his teammate Rishabh Pant on social media. This came after Pant shared a photo of himself posing with the championship medal.

Meanwhile, Axar Patel and Mohammed Siraj trolled Pant with a hilarious comment to the post. “Bhai same mere pass bhi hai (Brother, I have the same as well),” Axar replied on Pant’s post. Even fast bowler Mohammed Siraj joined the fun and replied, “bhai mere pass bhi h same (Brother, I also have the same).”
Axar Patel and Rishabh Pant were integral to India’s successful campaign in the T20 World Cup 2024. Axar Patel showcased his all-round prowess, scoring 93 runs at a striking rate of 139.39, including a crucial 47 in the final against South Africa. He also impressed with the ball, taking 9 wickets at an average of 19.22, highlighted by a stellar 3-23 in the semi-final versus England.
Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant began the tournament strongly but saw a dip in form later on. He amassed 171 runs in 8 matches at an average of 24.42 while batting at No. 3. Pant also set a tournament record with 14 dismissals as a wicketkeeper.
Both players represent Delhi Capitals in the IPL, where Rishabh Pant serves as captain and Axar Patel as vice-captain.
