India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir has addressed the speculation surrounding his rapport with Virat Kohli. Following his appointment, concerns were raised about how their previous interactions might impact team dynamics.
Yet, Gambhir unequivocally dispelled any doubts, emphasizing that both he and Kohli are committed to collaborating closely to achieve victories for India. He underscored the importance of collective effort and dedication in their shared pursuit of success on the field.
Gautam Gambhir addressed his relationship with Virat Kohli in a recent statement.
Ahead of India’s tour of Sri Lanka, Gambhir fielded all questions from the press corps during a comprehensive and informative press conference.
“Very good for the TRPs (his run-ings with Kohli in the IPL) but my relationship with him is not public. On the field, everyone will fight for their own team. At the moment, we are representing India. I share a very good relationship. I have had lots of chances to talk to him. It is not important what we discuss. The most important thing is we both have to work hard to make India proud. He is a thorough professional, a world-class player, and that is going to continue,” Gautam Gambhir said in the pre-departure press conference alongside Ajit Agarkar.
