The Indian men’s cricket team is currently in Zimbabwe for a five-match T20I series against the hosts. After a surprising 13-run defeat in the series opener at Harare Sports Club on Saturday, led by Shubman Gill, they bounced back strongly in the second match, securing a convincing 100-run victory on Sunday.

The third T20I is set to happen at the same venue on Wednesday. Ahead of this crucial match, the Indian players and their families enjoyed a wildlife tour in Harare on Monday. The BCCI shared moments from this excursion on social media, mentioning, “The BCCI, along with Zimbabwe Cricket and Zimbabwe Tourism, organized a Wildlife Tour for the Indian Cricket Team & their families in Harare.”

The players themselves also posted pictures and videos from the tour on their official platforms like Twitter and Instagram, which have quickly gained traction online.

Star all-rounder Shivam Dube, who played a pivotal role in India’s victorious T20 World Cup 2024 campaign in Barbados last month, is captured in various photographs alongside fellow Indian players and their families.

In the upcoming three T20Is against Zimbabwe, the Indian team will benefit from the inclusion of three members from the T20 World Cup 2024 winning squad. Shivam Dube, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Sanju Samson, all integral to India’s recent triumph in Barbados, will be in contention for selection on July 10, 13, and 14.

Having not featured in any of India’s eight T20 World Cup matches across the USA and West Indies, Jaiswal and Samson are eager to make a significant impact in these final matches. In the third T20I, it’s anticipated that Samson will replace Dhruv Jurel in the XI as the wicketkeeper-batter. Meanwhile, Jaiswal is poised to step in for Sai Sudharsan, who was available only for the initial two matches. The exact batting position for Jaiswal remains a point of interest.
