The Australia National Cricket Team has been hit with a major injury scare in their ongoing match against India, as star pacer Mitchell Starc suffers severe back injury during the 95th over at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. After delivering two balls, Starc was visibly uncomfortable, pressing his back as he prepared for the next delivery, raising concerns about his fitness.
However, after delivering another ball, Mitchell Starc was once again seen holding his back, clearly struggling with stiffness. The situation seemed to worsen after he completed the over, as the fast bowler grimaced in pain, clearly distressed by the discomfort in his back.

Thankfully for the Australia National Cricket Team, Mitchell Starc’s injury didn’t seem serious, as he quickly returned to bowling. His pace was back on track, consistently hitting speeds in the mid-140s, which was a reassuring sign for the Pat Cummins-led side.
However, Starc hasn’t quite been at his best in the ongoing match. Despite bowling 22 overs, he has yet to claim a wicket, leaving Australia on the back foot. His wicketless spell has been one of the main reasons India have been able to regain momentum in the game.
After being in a precarious position at 221/7, India made a strong recovery, with Nitish Kumar Reddy and Washington Sundar combining to rescue their team from trouble.
