Coming from the Delhi team in domestic cricket and having shared the field for India at the international level, Dhawan and Pant recounted numerous anecdotes from their time playing together. During their conversation, Dhawan fondly remembered an incident that had provoked his ire towards Pant.
“I was fielding near the boundary during a match against South Africa. Rishabh had told me to move away slightly, but I informed him that the bowler had asked me to stand there. He looked towards me and then ignored me, so I got a little angry,” Dhawan said.
