After concluding his role as head coach for the Indian cricket team following their victory in the T20 World Cup 2024 held in the West Indies and the USA, Rahul Dravid is reportedly poised to join the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) franchise.
The team has approached him to take on a mentorship role for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Dravid, whose coaching tenure culminated with a triumphant World Cup campaign, is set to bring his expertise to KKR after leading the Indian team to success following a close miss at the ODI World Cup 2023 held in India.

Recent reports suggest that the Kolkata Knight Riders are in discussions with Rahul Dravid regarding the mentorship role for the upcoming tournament. If confirmed, Dravid could potentially take over from Gautam Gambhir as the mentor for the Knight Riders.
