Samit Dravid, son of former India captain Rahul Dravid, captivated fans with a spectacular six on Friday during a Maharaja Trophy T20 2024 match between Mysuru Warriors and Bengaluru Blasters. Playing for Mysuru Warriors, Samit smashed a remarkable six down the ground off pacer Gneshwar Naveen in the seventh over.
However, he was out on the very next ball, leaving the field with seven runs from seven balls, including one six. A video of his stunning shot has since gone viral on X (formerly Twitter).
On August 15, Samit Dravid made his debut in the Maharaja Trophy T20 2024 against Namma Shivamogga. Batting at number four, he scored seven runs and struck one boundary during the match.
In his recent match against Bengaluru Blasters, Samit Dravid contributed seven runs to his team. Mysuru Warriors, batting first, set a competitive total of 182 runs for the loss of six wickets at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Harshil Dharmani played a pivotal role, scoring 50 to help secure a challenging total. Gneshwar Naveen shone with the ball for Bengaluru Blasters, taking four wickets.
Despite the 183-run target, Bengaluru Blasters reached the score with five balls remaining. Bhuvan Raju delivered a crucial innings of 51, leading his team to a four-wicket victory.
