Indian TV actress Ridhima Pandit has refuted all speculation linking her romantically with star India batter Shubman Gill. Addressing recent rumors suggesting they were dating and planning a December 2024 wedding, Ridhima clarified that there is no truth to these claims. In fact, she emphasized that she does not even know Shubman Gill personally, putting an end to all the conjecture surrounding their alleged relationship.

In a recent interview with Filmgyan, Ridhima Pandit addressed rumors of her dating Shubman Gill. She candidly stated that she had not even crossed paths with him. While acknowledging Shubman Gill’s charm by describing him as ‘very, very cute,’ Ridhima made it clear that there was no romantic involvement between them whatsoever.
“No (about dating Shubman Gill)! Firstly, I don’t even know him. I think he’s an amazing sportsperson, but main unhe jaanti nahi (I don’t know him). Jab main kabhi unhe milungi, I am pretty sure hum log hasenge iss baare mei (If I ever meet him, we will definitely laugh about this). I think he is very, very cute, but unfortunately, there’s nothing that is happening,” Ridhima said in the interview.
This isn’t the first instance of rumors swirling around Shubman Gill and Ridhima Pandit. Back in May 2024, speculation emerged suggesting the two were planning a December 2024 wedding. The gossip gained such traction that Ridhima felt compelled to address it directly on her Instagram, setting the record straight about the matter.
“I woke up with a lot of calls from journalists asking about my marriage, but what marriage? I am not getting married and if something important like this is happening in my life, I myself would come out and announce the news, there is no truth to this news,” Ridhima claimed.

Following her denial of the dating rumors, Ridhima emphasized that such speculations are merely figments of someone’s imagination and that she has no intention of engaging with them.
“After yesterday (Friday) and the whole of this morning (Saturday), I am not sure if it is a wise idea to confirm the same, but yes… I might not look like a private person, but I am.” The original post that she shared read, “Private people know how to post on social media regularly and still live a life you don’t know anything about,” Ridhima said.
“My milestones are something that I will always, always share with you all. I would never hide it because why? Rumours are essentially someone’s figment of imagination. I don’t wish to entertain them. I always want to be in the news for the right reasons, and my audiences know that. So, thank you for all the love always. Ted talk over and out…,” she added.
Meanwhile, Shubman Gill has not yet commented on this issue. Currently captaining India for the Zimbabwe tour, the 24-year-old is regarded as a pivotal figure in Indian cricket’s future, solidifying his position in the team’s batting lineup across all formats.
