Rohit Sharma took a well-deserved break this month following his leadership in securing Team India’s victory at the T20 World Cup the previous month.
During the tournament, under Rohit’s captaincy, the Indian team delivered a stellar performance, ultimately claiming the title after a gap of 17 years. Their flawless campaign made history as they became the first team ever to win the T20 World Cup without a single loss throughout the competition.
Rohit Sharma himself played a pivotal role as a top batsman, finishing as India’s highest run-scorer in the tournament with 257 runs in 8 games, including three half-centuries. His exceptional leadership and performance were crucial in India’s triumph.
Following the celebratory events in Mumbai and the felicitations by BCCI and the Maharashtra chief minister at Wankhede Stadium on June 4, Rohit Sharma and his family departed for a well-earned vacation in the USA.

Rohit Sharma recently returned to Mumbai with his wife and daughter after enjoying a few weeks in the USA, as reported by Sports Tak.
His arrival in Mumbai surprised many fans who expected him to be in Sri Lanka with the Indian team preparing for the upcoming ODI series. However, Rohit Sharma is no longer part of the T20I squad, having announced his retirement from T20Is after leading India to victory in the World Cup last month.
Soon, Rohit Sharma, along with players like Virat Kohli and KL Rahul, will depart for Sri Lanka to join the team for the ODI series. Before the ODIs commence on August 2, India is set to play three T20Is against Sri Lanka starting from July 27.
