Smriti Mandhana ranks 4th and Harmanpreet Kaur ranks 9th in the latest ICC Women’s ODI Batting Rankings.

In the latest ICC women’s ODI batting rankings released on Tuesday, India’s vice-captain Smriti Mandhana slipped to fourth place, while captain Harmanpreet Kaur climbed two spots to ninth. Mandhana holds 738 rating points, with Harmanpreet at 648.

Mandhana maintained her top-10 status after an impressive series against South Africa, amassing 343 runs across three matches. Meanwhile, South Africa’s captain Laura Wolvaardt surged to second place, narrowing the gap to England’s Nat Sciver-Brunt by just 16 rating points.

Despite South Africa’s series loss to India (0-3), Wolvaardt shone with a remarkable unbeaten 135 in Bengaluru, boosting her rankings. Her teammate Marizanne Kapp also ascended to seventh place among ODI batters. Jemimah Rodrigues of India moved up four places to 29th position after solid performances against South Africa.

In the bowling rankings, South Africa’s Nonkululek Mlaba climbed five spots to joint 22nd following her four-wicket haul in the series against India. Sri Lankan players also saw improvements in their rankings due to commendable displays against the West Indies.

Following her outstanding performance against the Caribbean side, spinner Kavisha Dilhari climbed eight spots to 34th in the rankings, securing a series-best seven wickets. Her teammate Udeshika Prabodhani also advanced six places to 22nd.

Meanwhile, India’s Deepti Sharma maintained her fourth position in the rankings with 671 rating points, showing consistency in her performance.
