With each expert weighing in on their forecasts for the T20 World Cup 2024 final, former South African cricketer Herschelle Gibbs couldn’t resist poking fun at their selections. He humorously noted that all the experts seemed to favor their own nations, highlighting the absence of any neutral predictions in the mix.
He commented: “Nobody neutral”
India stood out as the favored choice among almost all the experts. Led by Rohit Sharma, the team has assembled a well-rounded squad and is considered one of the top contenders for the tournament title. Their campaign kicks off with a warm-up match against Bangladesh in New York on June 1st.
Subsequently, India will commence their World Cup journey against Ireland on June 5th. This will be followed by clashes against Pakistan on June 9th, USA on June 12th, and Canada on June 15th. The initial three matches are scheduled to take place in New York, with the final fixture slated for Lauderhill, Florida.
