The Indian cricket team has arrived in Barbados ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024 finals, where they are set to face South Africa on Saturday.

Led by Rohit Sharma, the team secured their place in the final by defeating defending champions England by a convincing margin of 68 runs. Both India and South Africa have maintained unbeaten records throughout the tournament, making the final a highly anticipated clash to determine the champion.

A video posted by Asian News International (ANI) on their official X handle shows several Indian team members, including Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, and Axar Patel, disembarking from the airport and heading towards their team bus.

Accompanied by team members, BCCI President Mr. Roger Binny was also captured in the footage as he exited the airport.

The Indian team is poised for another shot at claiming championship glory, while South Africa is equally determined to clinch their maiden World Cup title.

Both teams have faced challenges in handling pressure during crucial matches, but this final presents a historic opportunity for one side to finish the tournament unbeaten, a first in T20 World Cup history.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma has been in exceptional form, delivering crucial innings against Australia and England. His performance will be pivotal in the final match.

Meanwhile, Rohit’s opening partner Virat Kohli has struggled to find his best form in this tournament. Despite this, both the captain and the head coach remain confident in Kohli’s ability to deliver a significant score in the final.

The T20 World Cup final is scheduled to be held at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on June 29, with the match set to commence at 8 PM (IST).
