Legends League Cricket (LLC) has announced a notable increase in the tournament’s prize pool to INR 60 crore for the upcoming season, representing a significant 25% rise from the previous edition’s INR 48 crore. Over the last two years, players have collectively earned nearly ₹150 crores through their participation in LLC.
This boost in the purse highlights the growing prominence and success of Legends League Cricket, which has become a leading cricket event showcasing some of the sport’s all-time greats. With over 600 players registered for the upcoming season, the tournament is set to take place in September 2024 across five cities in India.
“The league has grown with each season and the demand for star players is increasing as well. In order to help franchises to create an oomph factor, we are thrilled to announce the ₹60 crore purse for the upcoming Legends League Cricket season. This increase reflects the immense value and excitement that the league has generated among cricket fans and stakeholders.
