This incident unfolded during the latter part of the match while India was on the bowling end. The intruder’s aim was to approach India’s captain, Rohit Sharma. Despite Sharma’s request for leniency, law enforcement swiftly intervened, escorting the individual off the field, ensuring the game’s continuation.

At the time of this report, Bangladesh finds themselves struggling at 84 for 5 in the 15th over while chasing a target of 183 runs.
